Hello gem
I feel for you! I had a lot of back troubles having had bernie
I'm pleased to say they've almost gone now.
I had an MRI and it showed inflammation of s3 and s1
The gp needs the heave ho first off.
The rubbish treatment there is not everywhere and you need a sympathetic and supportive gp
Hydrotherapy helped me. Core stability work particularly
I got sent to bath hospital for rheumatic disease although I live in Hampshire for treatment
If you can possibly go there, go! But hydro is available indifferent places
Further, you need a proper pain management strategy,
I suggest you get to see a pain management dr.
I see a superb one at Winchester hospital
Just started CBT
But he's helped me work through all the pain issues, got me off the patches and put me thinking about meds differently.
I feel in control over this
I take paracetamol 4 times a day
Zomorph 120mg split
Gabapentin plus I've got oramorph as top up
I have emergency tamazopam to knock me out at nights
Im on steroids too and it sounds to me like you could do with a depomedrome while the ra settles post birth.
I couldn't stand for more than a few moments ar a time so I've got a rolator.
It's handy!
I still use it
My daughter is 5 now
It's never going to. Be easy and you know that but it's a wonderful thing to have a baby
You absolutely have as much right to happy and fulfilled motherhood as any other woman,
So (blows raspberry at gp)
And don't accept this rubbish treatment
All the best
